Hardware set up

Headset

The headset is powered by a single AAA battery. To insert a battery please use a screw driver to remove the plastic lid. The LED should have a blue light, a red light is an indication that battery is running out and should be replaced.

Smartphone

Make sure to pair both the headset and the device to the android phone before trying to connect using the NeuroDrive Application.

Smartcar

Before use make sure that the Smartcar has 8 working AA-Batteries, the red led should glow red when turned on. To attach the SR04-Sensors two breadboards are recommended to use together with 4 male to male wires.

Front sensor

The VCC pin on the sensor should be connected to the 5v slot on the Smartcar Board. The GND pin on the sensor should be connected to the ground slot on the Smartcar Board. The Echo and Trigger pins on the sensor should be connected to the D18 and D5 slot on the Smartcar board respectively.

Back Sensor

The VCC and GND is installed in same fashion as front sensor. ECHO should be on slot D16. TRIGGER should be on slot D17.
