A VR companion project for the Mechatronics Course GitHub Repository. This project is designed to enhance the learning experience by providing immersive virtual reality simulations.
This Unity-based VR project focuses on delivering a hands-on learning experience for mechatronics concepts. Designed for students and educators, the VR companion brings complex theories to life in an engaging and interactive way.
- Immersive VR environment built using Unity VR.
- Cross-platform compatibility (Meta Quest, HTC Vive, etc., subject to supported hardware).
Prerequisites
- Unity Hub (editor version 6000.0.xxxx LTS or later recommended).
- A VR-ready PC.
- A compatible VR headset (Meta Quest, HTC Vive, etc.).
- Git installed on your system.
- Clone the repository:
- Open Unity Hub and click on
Add Project
. - Navigate to the cloned repository folder and open the project.
- Open a Lesson in
Scenes
and press Play to test in the editor or build to deploy on your device.
- Launch the VR project on your headset or simulator.
- Navigate to a Lesson in
Scenes
to explore the currently implemented content. - Follow the guided steps and interact with the environment to learn specific mechatronics concepts.
