Before using MUBoard you should do:

Creating Ranks in the backend

If you create a rank choose a minimum number and a maximum number of postings and give a relevant title like Beginner for the first rank. Have attention that your last rank has a maximum number of postings that an user will never reach.

Creating Categories

Select a position depending on the settings for sorting of categories in the configuration

Creating Forums

Select a position thinking of the standard sorting is by position descending. There is no capability to change the sorting.

Don't touch the user table.

It will be filled automatically. You should only edit an user if you want to give him a special rank.

Make your settings for the module

You are able to decide if it is possible to upload images or files. You can set if it is possible to edit postings, you can controll the sortings of categories and forums, the standard and the special icon for a rank and which statistics should be shown in the frontend.

Import of Dizkus

For this functionality mysqli have to be activated on your server! You are able to import Dizkus in one or in 3 steps. Subscriptions in dizkus do not get imported into MUBoard. You have to enter your datas for your database.
