This reverts commit b4046d3.
Learned a lot about them, but they are truly not worth the hassle. Performance gain is so incredibly small because of how little % the UI takes up. It's a win more type optimization (makes high fps even higher) which the client doesn't even need, there's bigger fish to fry.
