Is there a way to make whitesur macos style close buttons work on appimages?

unfortunately, appimages are very difficult to work with, as AppImage applications are self-contained. It is not recommended to touch appimages, you will end up wasting too much time doing this. However, some workarounds can be used but they either need unpacking/repacking the AppImage (have to redo every update), or loading system libraries if their custom GTK does not want to use the system theme.
