I've got some thoughts about funnel plots that I'd like to see incorporated into the function(s).
Overdispersion is a common problem with the data I analyse. Many funnel plot tools do not handle this. I'd like to see it handled within any funnel plot function(s) as part of this package. I don't really have enough experience to suggest which approach is the most appropriate to take, but options include:
Negative binomial distribution, when dealing with over-dispersed count data
Zero-inflated methods for both proportion and count data
