WIKICATEGORYMEMBERS has pages limit?

In some cases, the wikipedia category contains more than 400 pages (e.g. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Bacteria_genera) but it seems that the wikicategorymembers function is only possible with less than 500. Could this limit be modified?

This is technically definitely feasible. I am time-wise severely constraint, but am happy to merge Pull Requests if you or someone else manages to add this functionality.

• If category contains more than 500 pages, the API call returns a new line
• E.g: https://en.wikipedia.org/w/api.php?action=query&list=categorymembers&cmlimit=max&cmprop=title&cmtype=subcat%7Cpage&format=xml&cmnamespace=0&cmtitle=Category:Bacteria_genera
• It is necessary to program n new calls by adding cmcontinue with the indicated value
• E.g: https://en.wikipedia.org/w/api.php?action=query&list=categorymembers&cmlimit=max&cmprop=title&cmtype=subcat%7Cpage&format=xml&cmnamespace=0&cmtitle=Category:Bacteria_genera&cmcontinue=page|2f3141314f4b392904098c2b292d4f314b3929098e011701dc16|56801168
