[Bug]: pip install pandas: installing backend dependencies failed.

Problem description

hi. i tried:
pip install pandas
and it takes forever and eventually gives error:
installing backend dependencies failed.
share transcript does nothing, so i had to copy paste this (idk why but it seems cut off and not complete):

pkg install python
pip install pandas
