I am using MacBookPro 4-Thunderbolt 2020 on Intel.
I followed the guide to step 7 when this issue emerged.
After choosing the EFI Boot option in recovery mode it says that chosen startup disk must be updated. At first i said ok, let's run and update, and got launched in macos but the error persisted.
I also changed the conversion parameter of dd command to sync instead of fdatasync (as fdatasync didnt work). could this be causing issue?
