Background:

• I am working on a series of short stories that have some recurring characters in the same universe
• I also need to maintain a list of recurring "artifacts"
• I would like to know the stories the characters/artifacts feature in
• I will have recurring locations/places
• I go back and forth between different short stories fairly often
• Timelines for the stories

Questions:

• Is it best to create each short story as a chapter as there might be recurring characters?
• Is there a way to maintain the at which place which character/prop/artifact has appeared automagically?
• Can I create a type of prop? As an example, create a a vehicle, and types such as 2/3/4 wheelers, motorized/non-motorized vehicle, and then have a bicycle be a 2 wheeled non-motorized vehicle?
• Is it possible to have character arcs?
• Given that characters interact with each other in different stories, is there an easy way to know which characters interact with whom and where? Is this a job for glossary/index
• Can I have a timeline in some sense? Would this be achieved through tags in org-mode or can I use some feature of org-novelist?
• Is it possible to tag specific actions/dialogues of a character so that it gets automatically added to the character's file below the Appearances in Chapters section?
