We are using Adobe Aero to create our AR client experiences.
We are looking for a solution of the Camera view and interaction with Adobe Aero APP on the iPhone.
A client has asked us to supply a solution of placing virtual label/signage onto in store Display Bays.
These label are critically place on a fixed Vertical plane (we set the labels up in Aero at the precise measurements of the Bay)
We have successfully fulfilled this part of the agreement...But
Our current issue is that the client is requesting the ability to stand roughly 6ft in front of a large bay about ( w8.25ft x h12ft).
In our research all the AR apps have a default camera view. This view does not address the clients request of fitting the whole Bay.
One of our solutions was to place a wide-angle clip on camera to our iPhone.
This solution caused misalignments between the AR labels and the physical bay.
It's crucial to make sure that the virtual content aligns correctly with the real-world scene.
If we can calibrate the THETA camera with Adobe Aero to ensure accurate alignment of the labels onto the Bay this would solve the clients request.
Thanks,
