Hey @Gansgar, I know this is a super old ticket, but you can always add custom yaml headers to entries; they'll just be ignored by the application. I guess the real question is, what would you want journal-cli to do with the headers? Would you want to filter by, say, mood or productivity in the same ways you can filter by tags? There might be ways of implementing that without a huge amount of work, so let me know if you're still using the tool and still interested in this feature. Thanks.

I'd be nice to have custom yaml headers like mood or productivity in addition to tags.
