Hello, welcome! Rust is certainly a language we'd love to support - we love Rust and are working on a blog post about how we ourselves use PyO3 to make Pants possible :) We haven't yet begun that work of scoping out Pants & Rust support, although we hope that our recent progress on Go, Java, and Scala will make it easier to accomplish. Are you using PyO3 currently? Related: we haven't tried Maturin yet, but it might be an interesting angle for a PyO3 integration: https://github.com/PyO3/maturin. |

Hi all,
I start off by saying, thank you for building and maintaining this amazing tool.
Are there any plans to add rust as a supported language? If so, would generating python bindings using PyO3 be a supported workflow?
Thank you for taking time out of your busy schedules to respond.
