There isn't really a way other than making your own copy with just the parts you need. |

Might I suggest that you consider MacPorts for older versions of macOS? I have a few Macs that I cannot update either, so I've switched to MacPorts on those computers while continuing to use MacPorts - Download & Installation has an installer for High Sierra. |

I am a Hackintonisher, and have to stuck at High Sierra because my GPU is no longer supported on Mojave and newer macos. Since High Sierra was officially dropped supports by the Homebrew team and no compiled bottles available. I have to complied the packages I had installed from the sources. But the compiling time for some packages (eg. gcc, ghc) is too long to be ignored. If there is a way to reduce the compiling time?
