We have a number of different UI brand colours across the digital OFN product.

Not all of these are:

  1. Consistent hex colour codes
  2. Needed due to very similar shades or colours
  3. Fully WCAG AA accessible: https://www.w3.org/WAI/tips/designing/

We need a designer to look over the colours currently catalogued: https://www.figma.com/file/A1RDmHC9dMxhjF7JTtiMuB/Components-library

I've currently looked over (I think) almost all the front-end colours in OFN. I've recorded my findings within a new project I've created here in the OFN figma org. The recorded findings are from OFN Canada, but there's a bunch of overlap and recurring issues in the other countries.

I'm going to continue with the same process with the back office as well.

Ok, the back office is done now as well.

Should the next step be a discussion of what colors to add/remove and how to systematize?

I also came across an interesting color system by Uber.

Lots to explore in that figma file!

Awesome! I think the next stage is to find some time with @jibees at some point to discuss and also for us to both talk about this in the Product circle + delivery circle meeting as part of the design contribution effort 😄
