Hi,

Congratulations on some amazing software, nice work.

Ideally, when one has completed a workflow diagram, it could be sent to an api, rather than using a save file, so it can save to another database, or otherwise consumed.

Integration can work with the file, its just uglier.

Is it possible to add a send to api option to the software please? Does this seem a sensible request?

Conceptually it seems like a small job (e.g. 2-3 days), but its easy to underestimate, and hard to tell what your current backlog is, would it be realistic to anticipate a feature like this relatively soon, or is it more likely to be next year?

Keep going with the software!!

Thanks

Hi,
thank you for creating this great and innovative piece of software! :)

I think this could be used to support SOARCA out of the box.

In one of their blog posts [1] (or rather in the linked demo video at the bottom [2]), you can see that they added an UI button to their roaster version to sent the current playbook to their API.

Maybe you could reach out to them and ask if they want to share their implementation for that?

Best,
Jonas

Dear @brettforbes and @JonasCir,

Thank you for your kind words!

Yes, the API call is a sensible ask, and it has been in our pipeline since the launch of SOARCA.
The version of CACAO Roaster that TNO used for their demo was developed by us and is accessible here: https://github.com/mateusdz/AInception-roaster
However, because of some blockers, we have not pushed it to the OCA GitHub yet, but it's coming in the next release.

Nevertheless, you can use the abovementioned version of CACAO Roaster until then.

Best,
Mateusz Zych
