Having the same issue. Barcodes do not scan at all currently. QR Codes are being scanned just fine and fast.

must be a version issue (not misconfiguration related) the demos on Vercel and Netlify are also having this issue.

I am currently having issues on ImageBarcodeReader where is does not work as all. It might be related to this issue.
