Type: Bug

After installing the following theme extensions from the marketplace, I encountered an issue when attempting to uninstall them:

  1. Bearded Theme (ID: beardedbear.beardedtheme)
  2. Omni Theme (ID: rocketseat.theme-omni)

Even after uninstalling these extensions and reloading the VS Code window, they continue to appear in the list of installed extensions.

VS Code version: Code 1.97.2 (e54c774e0add60467559eb0d1e229c6452cf8447, 2025-02-12T23:20:35.343Z)
OS version: Windows_NT x64 10.0.19045

Step to reproduce:

  1. Installed Bearded Theme (ID: beardedbear.beardedtheme) and Omni Theme (ID: rocketseat.theme-omni)
  2. Try those out
  3. Try uninstall them

Since it didn't get uninstalled I tried to remove them from my .vscode/extensions folder and now my editor shows this

I am on a Mac and facing exactly the same issue with this Bearded Theme extension. Please let me know how I can remove it.
