Not Working IN IE8

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.i Have append image in Div and then rotate image.
2.Image style property append to span in IE 8.0 so my Position not affect to 
image. 
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Image position set to given top and left.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Jqueryrptate2.2
