This is a Bug Report

Problem:

On https://kubernetes.io/docs/concepts/cluster-administration/addons/ the "CoreDNS" statement reads "CoreDNS is a flexible, extensible DNS server which can be installed as the in-cluster DNS for pods." but the link to https://github.com/coredns/deployment/tree/master/kubernetes states "These kube-dns/CoreDNS migration scripts and templates are deprecated. For deploying coredns, use the coredns helm chart, or the yaml templates maintained by kubeadm."

Proposed Solution:

Update links to helm chart (I think it's https://github.com/coredns/helm/tree/master) and kubeadm template (no idea where those live).

I suggest:

  • explain how to deploy using Helm

I have investigated, but the installation manual does not include the Helm deployment explanation.

I think we should update both the references.
