Hello!

I've been recently using glance and I must say that its really cool and well thought of !!

I really love the simple and functional design and I would love for a "To do List".

Thanks in advance.

+1 to this but how to make safer? could we make a page acessible only by certain ips?

Hi there!

I was wondering if IP-based access control is necessary in this case. Since the application is usually run locally on a device, wouldn't that already limit access? Could you help me understand why restricting access by IP would be needed for the To-Do List feature?

Thanks in advance!

i mean, you can always:

  • use a vpn instead of publicly showing the app
  • add a reverse proxy to do the job of filtering IP
  • use a zero trust solution like cloudflare access to restrict access to the page with condition like one-time codes, etc

i don't think that the app should have that kind of security, it feels more to be the job of already existing external solutions

See comments here regarding adding storage: #26

If you use a todo system that syncs to ical then this could be done via #94 Calendar Events, I use Todoist which has that feature

Storing the todo items in glance itself sounds like a pain to implement
