I have a Skytraq bluetooth enabled RTK receiver. Using Lefebvre Ntrip client, I can get an RTK signal I feed into the phone as a mock location. I want to put the RTK antenna on a survey stick and activate waypoints manually every time I place the stick and hit a button.
I've gone through the manual but can't find any way to do this other than turning on the GPS track and setting it to a time delay, then make sure I have the stick placed before the next point fix. Is there some way I can add a button to activate the fix manually into the GPS log, so I can then import that into something to precisely map a field? This is for surveying farm fields for hydrological changes.

Hi @ikfarm , for your usecase I would create a geopackage with the polygon/line table suitable for your field. Then you can enter edit mode and add a point in the current gps position whenever you like to. 3-rd button from left.
