navigate

It would be nice to be able to navigate to a vector point feature or to a note feature.

For example show a line on the map from current gps position with perhaps bearing and distance along it which gets updated as you travel towards the point.

Hi @don6019 , navigation is a complex mapper. Because we do not have an online system that calculates the routing for us on which we can rely for free. I tried many times in geopaparazzi, but then decided to refrain in SMASH, because half of the time the service was not available and needed some sort of upgrading.

If we find a service that allows us to get the OSM routing from, then we could reimplement it in future.

I wasn't really thinking about routing, just a simple line from the current GPS position to a selected point.
