Gentoo Wiki Configuration makes my zsh crash

I followed the Guide from here https://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/Zsh/Guide for .zshrc

but the gentoo-zsh-completions parts need to be commented out for zsh not to crash. So I will propably use oh my zsh like on my non Gentoo System. Is there a way to configure gentoo-zsh-completions with oh my zsh instead of portage?

I'd (personally) recomend to avoid oh-my-zsh, to be honest
