Deep Mini-ITX #93
Comments
I haven't tried it, but it seems like on the default shelves it would stick out the front a little. |
i do have an mini itx board installed and running within such a rack usinf this rack: https://www.amazon.de/dp/B009DGMPIM |
@hamiller I was asking about deep mini-ITX. It's slightly deeper. |
a, i see, sorry! nevertheless: I've attached my board to a 3d printed frame and just taped that to a 10" tray. So i'd think your deep itx would also fit 🤷 |
Is Deep Mini ITX the same as mini-DTX? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DTX_%28form_factor%29 |
Hello, does someone tried to fit deep mini-ITX motherboard on a mini rack ?
Deep mini-ITX form factor is 6.7" x 8.2" (for instance ASRock AM5D4ID-2T/BCM) so same width than mini-ITX, and same screw holes so I thing it will fit in the DeskPi mini-ITX shelf but it is slightly deeper than the DeskPi Rackmate (max 20 cm). Some racks like the L-com Half Rack Frame Rack are deeper but I don't know if the forementioned shelf can be installed in it.
