Metrics 4.1.x EOL: January 31, 2023

Hey folks,

The Dropwizard Metrics 4.1.x version line was started in May 2019 with the release of Dropwizard Metrics 4.1.0 and served us well for more than 3 and a half years.

With Dropwizard Metrics 4.2.x, there is a stable successor in place since 1 and a half years, so it is time to send Dropwizard Metrics 4.1.x into the sunset.

ℹ️ The official end of life for Dropwizard Metrics 4.1.x is January 31, 2023.

While this date is not too far into the future, we think that the migration effort to Dropwizard Metrics 4.2.x is so small that it can be done on relatively short notice.
