[Newbie here] I do not understand. Do I need to have restic REST server deployed to somewhere in order for autorestic to work?

I want to send backups to my main VPS from all other servers.

What do I need to run on my main VPS? restic REST server?

And what do I need to run on other (client) servers? autorestic? Or both could be run on autorestic.

The manual pages of both restic and autorestic lack of infrastructure visualization and do not mention whether if they have client-server or server-server relations to each other. That is why I do not understand the purpose of both.
