I have used this linting tool in a sample HTML file where I have intentionally placed a tag without ending it. I have done that to test the capability of the linter and guess what. It couldn't detect that error. For me, the whole point of using linting is defeated if it cannot detect such typos and silly mistakes because that happens a lot in large projects.
