The first locus theme is "my identity or lenses to the world" (the self and the rules the player follows). The sign in the first locus influences how the player sees reality in the game of $CHOICES and how other players perceive them.
When a player is born (i.e., ingress the game), this constellation defines the player's team (and their TNHC).
At any moment, the zeroth degree mark in a THC is the projection of the eastern point on Earth's horizon, i.e. a THC's first locus starts at this point. The astronomical constellation coming up at that point defines the sign of the first locus.
