Please give us a description of what happened

To Reproduce

Step-by-step reproduction instructions

  1. In a blank install, add Neve Theme, WP 6.6 and Yoast SEO
  2. Navigate to pages, create a page and put some content on it
  3. Try to use the icon to switch to tablet or mobile view while editing the page

Expected results

  1. I expect to see the content reformatted loosely into the mobile device layout

Actual results

  1. Instead only Yoast appears and all content appears to be gone until switching back to desktop.
  2. Noted that rolling back to WP 6.5.5 resolves the issue and disabling Yoast SEO resolves the issue.
  3. Tickets also submitted to WP Core and Neve theme so everyone is aware of the issue.

Hi @amrartist2009

Thanks for using the Yoast SEO plugin and also for creating the issue.

The issue you have noticed occurs when you change the View to Mobile or Tablet in the block editor, and due to this change, the content does not show. This issue has already been created here: #21488 and it's been due to the recent change in WP version 6.6. The WordPress team has already created a fix for this. See the comment here for your reference. with details. Once the WP team releases the patch, it will get fixed. Until then, you can collapse the Yoast SEO metabox to view the mobile layout contents.
