No longer can control my gpu fans...

Tried Fancontrol. It was working funky with my gpu fans, ocilating speeds, like it was fighting for control. So I uninstalled. Now I can no longer control the gpu fan speeds in the nvidia app. I try manual 100% and the speed goes up for a second, then back down. Even set to auto its always running at the 23% that FC had set. It never did that before. It would sit a 0% idle with nvidea drivers. Whole thing is messed and I have no clue how to reset. Reinstall of Nvidea drivers did nothing.

Have you tried with Afterburner? Also are you sure Fancontrol is not running? It can't be applying a speed if it's not running.

The fact Fancontrol wasn't working properly in the first place hints that you had something wrong in the first place. What other softwares you got related to your gpu?
