Thanks Naama, the variable description lists green mite, aphid, and whitefly as agents, but no information on the fungal species. The insects feed on the sap (honeydew) in the leaves, which introduces the fungal pathogens.

@cooperl09 I can't find the record of who created the trait. We have a couple of trials with associated phenotypes so I can see with breeding program if they can shed some light
