Unable to run setup.py #1

Following the instructions from the README:

[nruest@gorila:Islandora-eBadges-Repository] (git)-[master]-$ python setup.py install
  File "setup.py", line 9
    name: 'IslandoraOpenBadges',
        ^
SyntaxError: invalid syntax

$ python --version 
Python 2.7.9
