Stardrop crashing and not responding on launch (Windows)

Stardrop (1.2.1) repeatedly launches to a blank white screen and then crashes ("Application Not Responding"). This issue persists regardless of whether I launch from Steam or from the exe file. I have uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times and the issue persists.
