Immediate Crash on running exe

I managed to get stardrop to open successfully once.

A subsequent attempt on a new day resulted in a brief flash of the window opening before the program crashed.
I have tried re-installing repeatedly, from the github and nexus depositories.

I tried downloading v1.20 and it opened - but told me I need to update to 1.21.
Downloading v1.21 again resulted in the issue reoccurring.

I am having the same issue. But it opens with Steam just fine.
