Is there an existing issue for the same bug?

  • I have checked the existing issues.

Describe the bug and reproduction steps

since 0.18 launched there is a bug that causes after restart of OpenHands it to forget the api key. (im not interested into testing)

How are you running OpenHands? Is it the docker command in the README?
What OS are you using?

There should be a file ~/.openhands-state/settings.json and that's where your settings get saved so they persist. Do you have such a file?

Hi @Valve-too. Thanks for opening this issue. How are you running OpenHands? Is it the docker command in the README? What OS are you using?

windows using WSL2 as mentioned in the readme.

In your WSL terminal can you check if you have this file?
~/.openhands-state/settings.json

I can't reproduce this on Mac so it's possible that file doesn't get saved in Windows?
